Since 1992 Ciraco's Okinawan Karate & Kobudo has provided superior instruction in the Traditional Martial Arts in Horry and Georgetown Counties, South Carolina.
Shihan Ciraco was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2009 as the Regional Instructor of the year. He holds a 7th Dan and Kyoshi teacher's license in the Okinawan Konanryu Kohokan. Shihan Ciraco also is a certified international instructor in the Dragon Society International and holds a 4th Dan. The DSI is the industry leader in instruction of Kyushu Justu and tuite, the arts of pressure point and joint locking techniques. Adults love to learn the real martial science developed by the ancient masters and not just the skills of modern sport karate.
Shihan Ciraco has produced many high caliber black belts and over 30 world and national champions. His stranger danger and bully buster program was taught in the Horry County Schools for over 12 years. The life skills of courage, respect, courtesy, honor, and perseverance are natural outgrowths of his dojo teachings helping to prepare children for their life's journey.
