The pond in the Lazy Gator’s front yard is home to Callie the alligator. Having lived there for 10 years prior to the gift shop moving in, Callie was the inspiration for the store’s name and is perfectly at home in this pond under the oaks. Occasionally a customer catches a glimpse of the gator as it lazily swims from bank to bank before returning to its watery hole beneath the building.

The Lazy Gator has over 15,000 square feet of unique gifts, collectibles and Christmas items located across from the waterfront Marshwalk and Divine Fish House in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
Come and "get lazy" in the old fashioned rocking chairs on the low country style wraparound porch. Visit our homemade fudge and gourmet coffee bar, where you'll also find specialized jams, sauces, dressings and dips. They have a great art show every year and they're really about the local culture. Hard to look at everything in one day. They have a huge store and beautiful front porch.
