We've been the the Myrtle Beach Areas #1 choice for gymnastics for over 23 years, and winners of the "Best of the Grand Strand" for 2009, 2010 & 2011! Our gymnasts take pride in their achievements and form close friendships with their classmates, team members and coaches. Classes are organized to allow each gymnast to learn in a positive, safe and enjoyable atmosphere, at their own pace. It is our goal to provide the best gymnastics training opportunities in Myrtle Beach. Terry and Don’s help children to gain self-esteem and physical well-being through participation in the sport of gymnastics, dance and cheerleading. According to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, more than 10 percent of children between the ages of 2 and 5 are overweight. This lack of physical fitness can lead to a lifetime of health problems including diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol. In order to maintain the physical well-being of our young children, the National Association of Sports and Physical Education recommends infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers should engage in at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily. Gymnastics is an excellent source of physical activity because it incorporates all areas of the body and also promotes the cognitive growth of a child. It is our goal at Terry and Don’s Gymnastics to improve the physical well-being of young children through the sport of gymnastics.
